  • I paired my trip here with the obligatory visit to the monument to Ismoil Somoni. Interesting facade that seems to look almost a bit too stern to be a library.
  • Located on the west of Ismail Somoni Statue and East of Tajikistan Monument. You wont miss it if you are in this Neighborhood
  • why not visit a library? I always spend ages in them and look at what is kept inside. It is one of the most interesting visits one can do anyway.

  • Huge library. It was built to look like an open book. It should be viewed from above so the resemblance can be seen. Checkpoint and individual cards are available. Books are sorted by departments. I am not sure about the variety of reading materials though.
  • Design like a giant soviet period building, but flat, no nice details. Who the architect???
  • Great view
  • Very hudge!!!
  • Good building! It would be during the Soviet era.
