Ruifeng Night Market, Zuoying

4.1
Get a taste of local culture and cuisine while walking through Ruifeng Night Market. Look for specialties that include Mongolian barbeque, fried chicken and bubble tea, and other signature local dishes created using regional flavors and styles. As you walk among the stalls, you'll see very few signs in English, which adds to the authenticity of this night market. • Visited on a Sunday at around 9pm. As with most night markets in Taiwan, you’re gonna get a ton of finger food choices here, ranging from fried seafood, crepes, fried (unknown) balls, fried egg cakes ...  more »
  • Eat a lot of food and go for a walk. Not many people, there are a few stalls really business super good, but do not know is the Tuesday relationship, many shops are not open, a bit of a pity.

  • Rueifong night market is a must visit night market in Kaohsiung for sure! The night market is well organized so that it’s easy to shop around and they have so much authentic and tasty food for sure! Every time I visit Kaohsiung, I visit this night market. It’s just somehow too many people that I always stocked in the middle. Recommended. Go try it out!
  • This is a local night market that does not get a lot of publicity. Liuhe (六合)has been rated the most popular sightseeing night market in Kaohsiung. However, if you want to get good food, local delicacies, variety of food, good price, I would suggest you give Rueifong Night Market a shot. You would not be disappointed. Best yet, if you are tired with your back and feet, sit down and get a back and a foot massage. You are guaranteed to wake up fresh and be ready to tackle another day of your trip. Every time I came to Kaohsiung, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity of visiting this night market. A must-visit place in Kaohsiung!!!
  • Very wide variety of food and games booths. The grilled chicken skewers were my favourite. Some stalls near the entrance have very narrow aisle and limited walk space. Apart from that, it definitely trumps Liuhe in terms of food options and the novelty factor, as well as games available
  • Very compact. Be sure to wear your summer clothes because it gets hot very fast! Great traditional Taiwanese food available along with many stalls to find various knick knacks.
  • The Spanish Paella is amazing! Some foreigner selling. Isle 3 at the front. Chicken, home made bacon and chorizo. It's delicious.
