  • Family of five, 3 kids (11, 9, 7), my wife and I are bilingual. Kids know minimal Mandarin. Pretty extensive display, some are a little dated, but quite a comprehensive coverage of everything dealing ...  more »
  • The original national Party, in the sense and benevolence of the road, like the feeling on the safe island, inside to go to the atmosphere on the extraordinary floor to see the models left behind, but also very interesting

  • Evergreen is the corporate parent of EVA Air and this is an interesting, if not quiet museum. If you like all things maritime, this is for you  more »

  • This is a multi floor museum of ship models and other maritime artifacts. On the second floor are educational displays about navigation, ship safety and other interesting stuff to know for any future ship captain. It is in the Foundation building of the founder of the Evergreen group, one of the largest container shipping companies in the world. A very clean and well organized museum. Well worth your time on a rainy Taipei day. Close to the NTU Hospital MRT station. Small charge. Pay in the gift shop on the first floor.
  • Located just a few minutes walk from the Taipei Main railroad stations, this is a must for maritime enthusiasts. There are dozens of models of all types of ships throughout history. There are many exhibits explaining navigation, propulsion, and anything else you might want to know. The museum is very English friendly.
  • About the cafe, not the museum! It's run by EvaAir and there is a decent lunch place (food served 11am-2pm). It feels a bit like on a plane - you get your tray - but there are plenty more choices than just 'chicken or fish'! food is tasty, comes as a set for around $200. Not very busy, good service. A little bit different than usual.
  • Very good museum, and good restaurant there (The price is general can afford to pay, space is enough with baby strollers, and not so noise).
  • They've got a very nice collection of model ships here. Totally worth the price if you've got sea legs.
