Nanfangao Fishing Port, Yilan

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.8/5 based on 50+ reviews on the web
Lined with shipyards, warehouses, and fishing boats, Nanfangao Fishing Port sits against the backdrop of verdant hills. Attracting crowds during the Mackerel festival (September to February), the town represents a seafood lover's paradise all year-round. Visit a fish market to experience the "real" Taiwan--where you can choose from the fresh seafood and haggle with fishmongers, then get the fish prepared to your taste in the restaurant at the market. You can also buy dried seafood to take back home. Don't miss the striking temple devoted to the sea goddess. If you explore the area further, be careful, as most beaches around town have dangerous currents and swimming is not allowed. • I went by bus. This is the main bus terminal. Bus stop was just a little off, port, port was fishing 200 ships very much? But it isn't as noisy and shrine, and stores arouses nostalgia. I ate raw fish Moreton Bay bugs, shrimp in Macau after this. Also get back fishing market fresh seafood, and could also Cook in the market millions. There was that restaurant. You want to go again.
