Park · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Relax at Lavender Forest by taking a walk through the hilly surroundings. Founded by two ladies who escaped their busy lives in the crowded cities, the park provides a great range of food and drinks, as well as a calming atmosphere. Sip some tea in front of a field of purple flowers, then shop at the onsite gift store, where you can find homemade lavender products, including a range of soaps. Before leaving, don't forget to try lavender ice cream, a specialty of the park. Plan to see Lavender Forest and other attractions that appeal to you using our Taichung trip itinerary app.

  • This plave is playful with various scenery, activities and funs. There are crowds and ques during peak time and holidays. Highly suggest to visit during weekdays.  more »
  • This cottage is quite far away from downtown. However, it is worth visiting. If the weather is good, you can take a lot of nice pictures. In the post office, they will help you to send a postcard...  more »
  • Long drive to reach this Interesting place. We didn't explore much as we were pressed for time. We took some pics, bought some small souvenirs and off we go.  more »

  • Quaint attraction where you can find lavender related memorabilia, try some lavender ice cream and send a post card to your future self (or anyone you like) at the ‘memory post’.
  • The maintenance of this farm is great. Everything looks need and clean. Worth the entrance price I would say. But before you head to this place, do check the lavender season. You will not be seeing anything if you are going at the wrong time
  • Lavender Cottage is incredibly beautiful! This is the perfect place to unwind and relax with nature. They serve meals and drinks with lavender flavor, but for me it tasted a bit weird. When I ordered lavender milk tea, it tasted like lavender massage oil poured into the milk tea. Nonetheless, I would still like to try other lavender-flavored beverages! The meal didn’t taste anything special. I had the grilled chicken curry, and I think they didn’t use “real” curry powder in it.
  • The lavender park is well maintained. Food is amazing. Lovely environment. Definitely worth the drive.
  • Overall okay as one of sightseeing place on relaxing mode. But I was imagine the lavender park will be bigger and we can lie down or sit in the middle of it. And it turn not as i expected. And that day raining whole day..Forest cafe is good, service ok and fast some speak English, the Bread was nice with special Cheese Apple (my first time and taste good) and the Hot Lavender Orange Tea was unique.. You also can write wish and hang it on wishing tree above the Lavender Hill. Or write postcard which they post it by time u want in the future free or charge shipping. To go there a bit long, winding road but nice mountain view.
