  • The old streets had numerous stalls selling a wide range of things from food to teas to dried products to souvenirs etc... There are also games stalls for you to try your luck on airgun shooting, dart...  more »
  • It's certainly crowded on the weekends here. However, the view is fantastic. Do take the ferry to cross the river mouth for more food and shopping  more »
  • Pedestrian street filled with restaurants. Recommended dishes are the squid Tempura mixed with Basil seasoning powder. Eggs of steel here cheaper than at the other.

  • Bustling streets filled with nostalgia. My experience at Tamsui will be nothing without the warm-hearted Taiwanese hospitality displayed by stall owners. Prices are reasonably priced so its advisable not to haggle or low ball. There's a wide array of street food and tangibles so it is alot to look forward to. Personally would love to come back during the cold season. So make time to stop by Tamsui River for a quick view, perhaps some pictures for keepsake!
  • Tamsui is famous for its old street and you definitely need a bicycle or an electric scooter to get to the lovers bridge. it is quite a distance away and will require 1 hour via bicycle to get there. there are the city bikes at the start of the trail so you can do the rental there. there are a large variety of food selection there though many stores are selling deep sea squid. good experience overall and suggested time spent there will be about 3-4 hours.
  • souvenir shops and some small bites along.. short stretch. good to pass by after some phototaking at tamsui
  • Lots of great food...very crowded on holidays. Carnival atmosphere.
  • A nice scenic place to have some photos of the sunset along the fisherman's wharf follow by a visit to the old street. Quite a short street, do walk along near the park area which is a much quiet walk.
