Besides there is a large play pool outside, still has real Yin covered bunkers. If we don't progress to participant view said natural history museum, is free to access. Still can customize equipment meals come handy for a picnic fun!

Running NPM and exhibition of the frit piece ceramic video was very interesting. Tours in no time, so will see only the exhibits, but helpful.

I walked from Yingge train station. You must walk a lot of traffic in the road. Feels like a modern museum building. Enjoy excellent exhibits and pottery that are not interested in.

Not too crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Live classical music was performed during my visit. Each floor has a theme that matched an era in time. Placards and descriptions are mostly in Chinese with some English. My favorite was the 3rd floor, more contemporary and modern type of ceramic art. The museum is handicap accessible with elevators on each floor. Restrooms are also available on each floor. If you're a resident of the "new" Taipei area, you can go in for free with valid ID. Discounts available for students and seniors. The gift shop is quite large with something for everyone. I didn't buy anything because the prices reflect that of typical gift shops. Overall, I had a great experience.

Good place to spend an afternoon around Taipei, and seems to get less traffic than other museums. The adjacent site is nice on non-rainy/humid days. Small parking lot and the lack of viable food options is one of the biggest issues when visiting with kids, but the displays are good and there is enough to keep young folks occupied for a couple of hours.

I found the building quite interesting as well as the art and exhibits inside. You'll be allowed to take photos as long as there is no flash.

This is a museum with a wealth of ceramic art collections. Countless masterpieces all for free. There are also cool ceramics workshops for children and even parents alike to enjoy the pleasure of making ceramic arts.

Really cool if you're into ceramics or know someone who is. Tons of things to see, learn, and do!

Where to stay in Xinbei

Far more accommodations lie in adjacent Taipei than in Xinbei. That said, if you're keen to stay in Xinbei, you won't have any problems finding a place to sleep. Banqiao district offers the largest collection of hotels, guesthouses, and hostels in the new city, particularly around Fuzhong station. A similar variety, but greater number, of accommodations can be found in Taipei's central district, with a vast array of hotels great and small, guesthouses, hostels, and boutiques available to the east of the Tamsui River.
