(3.5/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Experience a throwback to the British Colonial era in Taiwan by visiting Fort Santo Domingo. The Spaniards originally built the wooden fort, which the Dutch reinforced with stone when they took over it. The British were its final owners, and they turned it into a consulate. The fortress resides on a hill and serves as a museum. Take in the view of the surrounding hills and the city, learn about the history of the building from the exhibits, and walk its grounds.
