Aletheia University is a private university in Tamsui, New Taipei City and Madou, Tainan in Taiwan. It was founded by George Leslie Mackay as Oxford College. It has close links to the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, and is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Taiwan.HistoryDr. George Leslie Mackay, a missionary from the Presbyterian Church in Canada), worked in evangelism, education, publishing and medicine after arriving in Tamsui in 1872. Soon after arriving Mackay chose a piece of land on a hilltop in the Pao-tai-pu area of Tamsui, planned the design of the main building and personally supervised its construction. • This school is not big, there is a beautiful school scene, very suitable for taking photos here. The holidays are open to the outside, and there are also red-feather cities that you can join together, or enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea at the pastor's desk.

  • can go directly into the campus of the University of Truth from the red Feather city. The whole big environment is basically one. Red Bricks's Oxford church building and the red Feather City. It's a good fit for a walk, but the ramp is exhausting for people who are inconvenient to do so.

Where to stay in Xinbei

Far more accommodations lie in adjacent Taipei than in Xinbei. That said, if you're keen to stay in Xinbei, you won't have any problems finding a place to sleep. Banqiao district offers the largest collection of hotels, guesthouses, and hostels in the new city, particularly around Fuzhong station. A similar variety, but greater number, of accommodations can be found in Taipei's central district, with a vast array of hotels great and small, guesthouses, hostels, and boutiques available to the east of the Tamsui River.
