Window on China Theme Park, Taoyuan

3.8
Stroll through the miniature versions of Europe, Asia, and America at Window on China Theme Park. The mini structures offer a closer look at some of the most popular sights from around the world, as well as the architecture, people, and cultures of the countries in which they are located. For something more actionable, ride a roller coaster, jumbo wave, or bumper cars. Opt for something more theatrical with one of the park's current shows, which feature clowns and acrobats. • It was the top attraction 35 years ago, and I remembered I loved it. mainly because 35 years ago model trains were not popular in Taiwan, and exchange rate was not favourable, no one had model train a...  more »
  • The scale of the small version of the country's well-known buildings and fields, so that children can know the outline of the building, and there are many of the game to allow children to have a good day here.

  • In Taipei, buildings, world renowned for building the building models are somewhat interesting. But other than an amusement facility is not as good as other places of amusement facilities. You should not be expecting the facility to play, it seems. Children brought up in addition to the family-friendly is not recommended. Only a 1-hour bus from the postmark in Taipei Bureau took about 30 minutes to ride the bus from the hostel place considering the time to take a couple of hours writing that much time to think about the one that's going to be.

  • If the weather is good, its a great place to bring the kids. Lots to see at low entrance fee. Food choices are minimum so should eat before going. It was difficult for fathers to find diaper station inside(hopefully they will improve). Would like to go back again if the weather is good.
  • Perfect for young children and the young at heart. There's actually two parts to this park. The first part includes miniature versions of different attractions from around the world. Afterwards you ride a train to go to the amusement park which has a lot of rides that are tame so little kids can ride. Lots of great photo opportunities. We went when our kids were 2 and 5.
  • Really 2.5 stars. The park has not changed much since my first visit in the mid 90's, with most of the static displays showing their age (probably need some refreshing). The park is entertaining for young kids, but not much fun value for adults or older children. Some tips from our time there: 1. Pack your own lunch, because the food options in the park are atrocious and quite a bit overpriced. 2. Explore the park from the back to the entrance, as the rides get a bit of a line. 3. Sit near the back of the mini-trains, as the diesel engines spew the worst smelling exhaust.
  • It's a very good amusement park especially for small kids. I have visited this place since I was a kid. At that time, I wasn't quite impressed with its exhibition and facilities, but after many years when I revisited with my kids, I felt quite impressed with its improvement. Kids and I had a very good time. Least but not the last, all of the staff are very friendly. They always answered my questions with smiles, everyone of them. The only defect was the food. Not so yummy...
  • nice place to take young kids. it's a full day outing.
