  • Every time with children can play a whole day, occupy the big, the animal is also not wrong to protect, even if not with the child a day can not go shopping. Suggestions for the district to visit, every time to look at 2 to 3 areas with the bear cat, Bird Park, climbing insects is very good.

  • This Zoo was so big, we spent the day and barely covered ground. If you want to open your mind to the natural world, you must get here! They have a tram that will take you around. We should have used ...  more »
  • There are more animals in the field, and the solution is clear, and the child is very happy. There's also a cheap diet, no need to worry about lunch. You can take the cat cables to the zoo South Station, sitting in the connected car, very suitable to play together.

  • For the price and the amazing scenery, you just can't get any better than this. It's so cheap to come here, and you can even rent strollers for your kids. the food inside us good and inexpensive as well. the landscape is gorgeous, and the animal exhibits are comprehensive in that each one offers several sections for viewing from different angles and locations so you can see the animal wherever they are in their habitat. and the animals are the liveliest and happiest and healthiest I've seen at any zoo and I've been to the San Diego zoo and many others. It's not often very busy either. This is our favorite zoo.
  • A great zoo on a big lush campus. Lots of interesting animals in enclosures that did not evoke too much sadness. Worth a half day. For little ones, the subway ride there is an added bonus. Plan to include the cable car ride as well and it makes for a good full day. Trains/shuttles inside the zoo give everyone a break. Plenty to see. Pack your own lunch as the food options are not great inside the zoo. Very reasonable price.
  • Taipei's dense tropical forests create the perfect setting for a beautiful zoo--a lush green that most zoos in the world only WISH they could duplicate. However, I am surprised by how small the zoo is in terms of the number of animals and habitats, for a greater city area of 7.5 million people. There is still a lot of walking involved, because the grounds are large and the exhibits are pretty spread out. Unfortunately, on the mild-weathered day we went, from 2:30pm -5:00pm we walked by one area after another without seeing animals. Still there were several highlights, including the koalas, the pandas, the penguins, and the energetic black bear. Plus the food prices were quite reasonable and the admission was super cheap. Overall, Taipei Zoo provides an enjoyable and affordable afternoon in a beautiful setting. And taking the gondola ride near the zoo's entrance after the zoo closes creates the perfect ending to the day.
  • It was a wonderful experience to be in a zoo that is so accessible via public transportation, or even via Taipei's Gondola. And yet when you are inside, it seems that you are in an oasis with beautiful flora and, well, caged fauna. The zoo is neat, planned as if it was a huge Park. The gardens are well-trimmed, signs are well-placed. There is even a train to take you uphill. It is must see for any Traveller.
  • 60NT to enter, my expectation was that this zoo would be small and only a few exhibits.....how gravely was I wrong, this is the Disney of zoo. We actually planned to spend an hour and a half here but end up spending 4 hours and we only just managed to visit roughly half of animals. Ridiculously cheap considering the size and quality of the zoo...there were so many variety of animals. Girlfriend loved the camels while I loved the red panda. Note: closes at 5pm. All animals will be kept by then
