  • The zoo was pretty fun for my 4 year old. It's pretty big with lots of walking. We spent about 3 hours there and then gave up. There was a long line for the train and we couldn't be bothered to wait. ...  more »
  • Can't quite turn in level first of all Japan would have size. For the holidays or who is full of elephants and other popular areas. You could see without waiting for the little Panda will time be writing tickets were distributed at the entrance. I feel that show the Zoo rather than animals living freely. Walking too spectacular! Helpful because there is little shops around the Zoo, but are there convenience stores and McDonald's. Enjoy all day isn't it. If I have on a gondola ride and take it to the cat skies.

  • A large open zoo with a huge variety of animals. The zoo is very easy for English speaking people like me who are often just killing some time on a business trip. One downside though, you all know how hot it gets in the summer time and the animals just lay around looking pitiful on these days as if to say "I wasn't built for apocalyptic humidity". The panda exhibit is really cool.
  • It is a nice place for family spending time on weekend. The place is clean and convenience. Recommend using bus to go up on the depth and high in the zoo then walking down to the entrance it will be easier for elder. Don't miss visiting Panda.:)
  • We were lucky enough to go there on a rainy (just a slight drizzle in the morning) day so there was no crowd. We just strolled right into the panda complex and there were maybe 10 other people there. The main panda attraction aside, the zoo also has pretty educational exhibits and signage in both Chinese and some English. Their bird section was particularly good since there were a lot of colorful tropical birds that I don't normally see living in the temperate zone. Even though the zoo was undergoing construction and some sections were closed off, there were enough things to see that it took nearly the whole day for us to go through the zoo. Would definitely want to come back when they finish construction.
  • Good location. Just next to mrt station. Nice environment. Many different kind of animals. Very nice ticket price. Must visit if you good to Taiwan with family or lover.
  • Excellent zoo. Every imaginable animal. Many vending machines or drinks and snacks along the way. Also great sit down place for food (outside picnic tables). I believe 4 eateries to choose from. Definitely do the gondola ride, 5nt shuttle and gondola 120 to 160NT depending where you get on and off.
