Taipei offers an impressive selection of accommodation options for every type of budget. For the least expensive rooms, consider areas near the main train station. You can usually find deep discounts online, so it pays to plan at least a month in advance. If you prefer to play it safe and don't mind paying a top price, go for one of the city's four- or five-star hotels, most of which offer quick access to popular tourist areas and some of the best shopping and dining spots.

  • Really small but really nice old meets the new place. Really mesmerizing to walk around and look up to see Taipei of today.
  • Must visit in Taipei! You can enjoy some food and shop here. A small museum here can also bring you to history of Taipei 50 years ago.
  • Cool! Check out the impct coffee for the future booth. It's amazing.
  • This place is found in the opposite side of Taipei 101. It gives a great idea for visitors to observe the development of Taiwan Taipei city.
  • Lovely way to spend an hour or two on a quiet weekend day. Cute little booths of people selling handmade items, both edible and non edible.
