Art Museum Museum
Learn about modern art at Fine Arts Museum, the first museum in the country to promote only modern art shows. The artwork starts with the architecture of the building itself, which is shaped like a pound sign (or hashtag) where you can spend a time admiring both local and international art exhibitions. Take a night stroll next to the museum to see the light show projected onto the building, forming yet another artistic installment. Families will appreciate the cafe with a playroom for children under the age of 5. You can purchase books in the basement museum bookstore, situated alongside the resting area. • the entrance ticket is 30 yuan. It is not so crowded. Most of visitors are locals. If you like paintings, you should visit. You have to buy the entrance ticket for visiting the red house which is next to museum. The price is also quite expensive. From there you can visit police station, broadcast station and really beautiful garden just opposite of the museum.
  • For some reason I don't like the place. Outside architecture is good but I inside the exhibits aren't that great. I was expecting more. Place was empty during the weekend hrs when I visited. I did like the photography exhibit and the outside water spray place.
  • This place is amazing for art lovers. Very quiet with variety of exhibitions in all the halls. Students will have different admission charge from the general public provided having a student card.
  • Free entry for students, even for foreign students! High quality exhibitions (for the most part). Would probably have paid up to $200, but even regular entry is just $30. Definitely a big recommendation!
  • Admission was only 30 NT and 15 NT for students. The architecture was neat, spacious and clean. Exhibits were thought provoking. Check it out if you wanna get cultured!
