  • We're doing a 30-minute, green tunnel, and every ship has a tour guide. It's very interesting to see the water pen, the fiddler crab, the white 鷺 鷥 and the night 鷺, and so on, is a great lifestyle trip. The holiday platoon was so long that the baby's baby cart could be put on a boat, and the baby's car could be parked.

  • In Taiwan, which can be so close to the red tree, the shade tunnel formed by the Lin Seng mangrove forest is very strong, and the fish and crabs in the moist ground are also very many, called the Taiwan Pocket version of the Jefferson River.

  • Four grass here is the Taijiang country, which can be watched by a light ship along the River Road to the precious red woods, the red trees are the most popular species in Taiwan, and there are some special birds that are most famous for their endangered 鷺 (because the bird is to be seen in the right season).

  • Like other reviewers have pointed out, there are 2 different routes the boats can take you. The green is shorter and the yellow is longer. I took the yellow route which was kind of nice. You get into a boat with a lot of people and ride around the river looking at places where fishers catch crabs, oysters, and fish. You also get to ride through some wildlife preserves trying to catch a glimpse of herons and egrets. The tour guides only speak Chinese, but they do a good job pointing things out. It was pretty relaxing, but honestly, I didn't really get to see much. If you're really into ecological and wildlife stuff, you might enjoy it more. The nice thing, is that the ticketing, waiting area is near a big temple and food stands. This is good, because you might have a wait awhile before getting to go on a ride. Our group was running late, so our 1:00 trip had to be canceled and we ended up getting a 3:30(?) tour. There was a lot of waiting around but it went by quickly due to the attractions close by and street performers.
  • Make sure you get the front row seat do you get the best photos. If you don't try during at the back as the boat will turn around on the return trip but there will be ripples in the water from the engine. Try going on a sunny day. I went on a gloomy day in march. Entrance ticket is $200 TWD
  • It took a long time to wait for the ride. Wait for about 4 hours for the green tunnel boat. Fortunately(?) we ride on another longer boat trip (70 mins) and went to the food stand next to the temple for icecream and cold drink during the wait time. I wont recommend this place if you are in a rush schedule or if you expect a quiet and relaxing boat trip (its difficult to travel by public transport, we ride on taxi from tainan train station to 大眾廟,which cost around twd300)
  • Pretty scenery and a good place to relax. If you want to do a boat tour during a holiday make sure you plan in advance because they fill up rather quickly.
  • It is very beautiful during sunny weather.. there are 2 options for the boat. Green route with smaller boat (30 mins) and yellow route with the bigger boat (70 mins). I took the green route, because it is going through smaller and more narrow waterway, i feel that it is much nicer and closer to nature.
