  • There is no castle, golden or eternal! If they didn’t charge 50$ for entrance would be kinda ok for sitting on the bench... You can do nothing somewhere closer to town instead!  more »
  • It is a bastion of Western-style the moat of the star, such as built in the Edo period in Japan. But kinda disappointed actually go in and seen only in the flat.

  • Come to Tainan besides eating, don't miss the ancient miracles that are very close to the people in the city. To the city of Curtain, the river will first be in the eye, if there is time, you can take the next side of the day Goose Boat, a circle of billions of Jincheng, very good! I met the volunteer Uncle Guide, said the whole history, it is worth it!

  • Its pretty interesting, a fort contracted by the Wing empire, built by the French, armed with British guns built in response to a Japanese attack because some aboriginals from Ryuku got killed by aboriginals in Taiwan. Its worth a visit, but don't wait around for the "cannon show". The guide was very knowledgeable(if you can speak Chinese) but the cannon was a replica filled with cheap fire crackers. There is English signage, and the QR codes have some English audio. A nice day out if you're in the area.
  • Nice place to see and take a rest. Really quiet here so you can sit on bench and just relax. Admission fee is NT 50 for adults and NT 25 for students so no big deal.
  • Not much to see. There is no castle - it is just a large patch of grass with some antique canons scattered around. Also, there is extremely limited public transport here, and you'd be lucky to be able to hail a taxi back to town centre from here.
  • Was just a square garden with a moat around it. But nice place to walk. 50nt to enter
  • Historically it is a castle built in the Ching Dynasty in the 17th century. There was only one real historical canon left and the rest of the canons are replicates only. The river surrounding it could be an excellent place to ride a boat but you need to drive it like riding a bicycle. The coffee shop is nice and real Taiwanese taste. The staff are helpful. For the price, it sounds a bit expensive if you only visit this place but if you buy the 500 bugs pass for five historical places it really worth it. The cluster of historical places were nearby.
