  • From the train station to the South. A combination of indoor and outdoor shows. Known as a creative Center, more suitable for children.

  • They have a few art pieces such as painting on water tanks, noah’s arc. Not so much to see. I think its not worth a visit.  more »

  • So many interesting things happening! Many exhibitions, a market, Wine Culture Museum. Not very crowded even during the weekends.
  • Had a chance visit here for an exhibition. The transport to here is aplenty and the exhibition was well done.
  • A poor imitation of the Huashan Creative Park in Taipei. The entire park lacks restaurants, stores, and overall energy. The Taiwan Liquor Company museum and store are a complete lack of effort. Embarrassing attempt at a cultural and creative park.
  • Good for visitors to know the history of Taiwan and wine. But the other exhibitions are nothing special.
  • Not bad, relatively small but has couple of interesting workshops(exclusively chinese though, shame)

Where to stay in Taichung

Look at the Central District for the main accommodations in Taichung. This area contains the majority of the city's high-rise chain hotels, both luxurious and standard, along with a few simple guesthouses, family-run boutique establishments, and hostels. Xitun District features a number of eco-friendly hotels, with the emphasis very much of green grounds, spa relaxation, and restaurants with diverse, seasonal menus. Guesthouses and apartment rentals can be found in the more residential districts encircling the city center.
