Discover Taiwanese modern and contemporary art at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. Surrounded by a sculpture park, the four-story building features 16 galleries, a library, a gift shop, and a tea house. Start at the sculpture park, which boasts over 40 sculptures and 50 calligraphy stone tablets. Move on through a transparent passageway, which creates a subtle transition from the exterior to the interior of the museum. The kids will love the family room, which features plenty of hands-on exhibits to experiment with. The permanent collection focuses on Taiwanese art starting from the 18th century, while temporary exhibitions display artworks from other East Asian countries.
