ConfuciusTemple Martyr's Shrine, Taichung

3.3
#2 of 10 in Historic Sites in Taichung
Get in touch with your spiritual side, appreciate tranquility, and pay homage to Confucius at ConfuciusTemple Martyr's Shrine. Unlike many other temples on the island, which were built in either the Ming or Qing dynasty styles, this structure boasts a Song Dynasty palace-style design and also happens to be the island's largest and most colorful temple. Enter this holy complex by passing through two grand archways that guard the entrance, then continue to stroll through the complex grounds. Small bridges stretch over man-made ponds; guards perform marching exercises during different times of the day. • Units in the one-day tour from Taipei but is dropped to last place. From the evening was whether fewer people, was quiet. Had a photo shoot or a bride and groom. Indeed, as a stage for shooting accessories. Confucius and I did fine in lots of places in Japan and abroad. For example becoming tourist destinations of the Nagasaki Confucius Temple and Confucius Temple in Hanoi, Viet Nam, where academic prayer more ostentatious architecture of Chinese style, I wanted to visit the Confucius Temple in Taichung, I visited a Confucius Temple in was probably the biggest thing. Otherwise, it was erected in 1976, relatively new. "Dacheng Hall" hit and go through the gate to the main shrine. It seems tiles place of Confucius and his disciples are enshrined. Dacheng Hall "of seems behind enshrined ancestors of Confucius", Holy Shrine". It is a very big temple of Confucius.

Look at the Central District for the main accommodations in Taichung. This area contains the majority of the city's high-rise chain hotels, both luxurious and standard, along with a few simple guesthouses, family-run boutique establishments, and hostels. Xitun District features a number of eco-friendly hotels, with the emphasis very much of green grounds, spa relaxation, and restaurants with diverse, seasonal menus. Guesthouses and apartment rentals can be found in the more residential districts encircling the city center.
