Kenting National Park, Pingtung
Categories: National Parks, Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
The oldest park of its kind in the country, Kenting National Park encompasses the southern tip of Taiwan and features mountains, lush vegetation, and rugged coastal stretches. Pay a visit to this popular national park to explore the wild extremes of the Hengchun Peninsula, where rocky cliffs meat the churning waves. Use the network of paths and trails to view the jungle and its wildlife, including a population of native monkeys. Keep in mind that the park also offers a number of sandy beaches where you can kick back and admire ocean views. Try hitting the waves, or go snorkeling to view the park's colorful offshore coral. Renting a bike or a scooter makes for an efficient way to sightsee around the park, and also helps to reduce fatigue in the tropical climate. A visit to Kenting National Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Pingtung vacation route planner to plot your vacation.

We had 2 full days in Kenting, but unfortunately it rained throughout that time. So we spent only a short time in the visitor center. The staff spoke little English but very helpful if you understand ... read more »
Pese a que nos llovió a cántaros, alquilamos una moto y nos fuimos directos al parque. Como caminar por la jungla y con vistas impresionantes, hasta tuvimos la suerte de ver un mono.Although we rained cats and dogs, we rented a bike and we went straight to the Park. Like walking through the jungle and breathtaking views, until we were lucky to see a monkey.show original
海や眺めはいいのですが、ホテルのフロント以外ではほぼ英語が通じず、google 翻訳アプリが必要です。Sea and the view is good, but otherwise the front of the hotel speak almost better English, google translator app is required.show original
One of my favorite spots in Kenting, pleasant in summer when you try to escape the heat. Be aware of monkeys, they seem nice, but may be aggressive...
Great place to enjoy Taiwan's mountain and sea view at the same time. It would be awesome to visit there on hot, sunny days with all the local tourists coming south.
One of the most famous Taiwan Natural Park, include both Mountain, Dersert and Ocean view in nearly area, four season weather like Spring.
A very nice place, I like the nightlife and the view. There is a very nice beach too.
A nice place to get away from the city, but bring a car or scooter.
