  • A good option for a day while visiting Kenting. Well designed and informative exhibits, with 3 main areas. Waters of Taiwan, Coral Kingdom, and Waters of the world. Parents with kids will love the discovery zone interactive area where they can keep busy with educational hands on activities, not really for others without kids. The underwater tunnel is quite impressive, and the sunken ship is very creative. I don't know how to feel a out the beluga whales, although it is cool to see them up close, large intelligent creatures like these probably should be in the ocean. They seem healthy and well taken care of however. We came here on when the weather wasn't good, a good choice for non-beach weather days.
  • Excellent display of Taiwan marine life. Children interests taken care of. Aquariums very fantastic. Accessible by bus from Kenting or Hengchun towns.
  • Great place to visit. We were disappointed of Kenting so we turn our scooter and had a ride here. Bright decision especially if you happen to have a bad weather. You can kill all day here and don't get bored. Huge aquariums, great variety of marine life. The penguins are the best. A little bit disappointed they don't have a whale shark here anymore. That guy was too big for the biggest fish tang already.
  • This place is great. The displays are quality, the people helpful and kids can find a lot to do. My 2 year old daughter can easily entertain herself for a morning. Bring something to get wet in because the water play area is a blast as well. The prices aren't bad either.
  • Good family day out when weather is poor in the area. Large and well-resourced aquarium. Some good exhibits, including the regional tanks. Penguins here appear to be treated better than many other places, but it is sad to see the seals and beluga whales. Display labels are concise and clear, with some messages of sustainability and conservation. There is a good thread of evolution and adaptation running through the exhibits, including some 3D 'prehistoric oceans' virtual tanks. Plenty of food provisions and great for kids of all ages. As a marine biologist and educator, I'd like to know more about the real research the attached university is doing. We took the '101' bus to and from the park.
