  • The Wen Wu is a relatively new Buddhist temples with influences of Confucius. It is a relatively large plant and offers also a great view of the Sun Moon Lake. He offers many beautiful photo opportunities and is only recommended!

  • The temple even if it is not ancient, worth a look. As construction work is perfect, rich and very impressive. The tour can take several hours, and the views from the temple on the Lake are also wonderful. No admission is charged, in addition to the Chinese tourists was the Temple of half-empty.

  • Large, multi-part and quite new Taoist temple complex above the Lake. With Chinese tour groups therefore quite hype popular. Beautiful from the top level on the back of the temple at sunset view of temple and Lake

  • Wenwu Temple on Sunmoon Lake is a destination in and of itself--so layered and intricate. As soon as you have passed through one temple, you enter another. Its quite surprising. When our plan to bike around Sun Moon Lake went out the window because of heavy fog, we ended up at Wenwu Temple instead. What a happy accident that turned out to be. We never could see the lake through the thick fog, but we had a wonderful time exploring this beautiful area. The Wall in the very back of the Temple is unlike any I have ever seen. I was in awe.
  • The view from here for Sun Moon Lake is beautiful! Stunning architecture. Lots of other temple things to do and see here.
  • Intricate carvings on walls. Not too bad. Supposedly you get good blessings here.
  • There are 365 stairs at wenwu temple based on day of birth. Find your own and meaning.
  • Go for the view, it's worthy it. One of the best places to take panoramic pictures of the sun moon lake.
