Landmark Tourist Spot
Stop at Checheng Station to take a peek at the reminder of Taiwan's once-prosperous logging industry. Originally part of a railway used for transportation of equipment, workers, and products from the nearby plant, this rustic station now stands as a museum commemorating the industrial history of the town. Check out the memorabilia, feed the ducks in the pond, or just enjoy a lunch at the onsite restaurant. Take a memory with you by shopping at the nearby gift shops.
