  • We visited on a tour. Photograph was taken in front of a signboard Hill, lovers wrote LOVE. Beyond the Observatory, Kaohsiung City and harbour views.

  • It is located on a small hill, good views. Difference between Taipei and go up to the top and there was a martyr's, not the gatekeeper of the upright soldier, and fewer tourists.

  • Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung Taiwan Strait views. So that lovers of evening since couple there. Climb quite so secure the feet is required. Worth a look there is.

  • Way above expectations - it's somewhat crowded but the park is so huge and with so many paths that the masses spread thin the further in you go. We saw a barking deer and loads of macaques. Ever so often the forest clears and, depending on where you are, you find great views of either the city below, the mountain or the ocean. If you are an experienced hiker and choose the longest route and the hardest trails, you can get a proper nature hike out of Shoushan. Highly recommended.
  • Would give it five stars, but the monkeys have been really aggressive lately. Nice pathways for a hike or jog. Don't bring ANY food with you, but a water bottle is necessary because it gets really hot.
  • Monkeys are awesome. Great place to walk around. Of course the monkeys are going to steal your food. They're monkeys.
  • So many hiking routes to choose from. There is also two resting booths with free water, ginger and Chinese tea. Just do not walk and eat or carry food in your hand cos the monkeys (aka Monkey Mountain its other name) will take you down.
  • Perfect for hiking, don't underestimate the size of it, it can be really challenging in a hot Summer day or during a typhoon hahahahahahahahahahahaha
