  • Hong Kong area and overlooks the Kaohsiung area, absolute beauty scene or landscape. Parking spaces have a little less, little road, holiday many people must have patience. Mountain School/瑪 Alexander star is hot in del Carmen King little.

  • When the weather's nice views. Great views of the city and the sea looks altogether. But when the weather bother fog etc have to go with no trouble. A walk in the mountains rather than public transport or by car to visit.

  • Spectacular. Come very early (to avoid crowds) or very late ( to enjoy night views).
  • It's a beautiful and quiet place. There is an observatory deck not too far away in walking distance, for a good view of Kaohsiung City. Just note on the mosquitoes.
  • Came up here for the view, due to bad air pollution which covered half of the city, still pretty but looks foggy tho. I saw people rode their bike, its good for cycling but kinda dangerous to me as some people here dont quite follow traffic rules. 😩
  • The shrine itself is beautiful. Be respective when visiting..do not talk or lough out loud. There is a spot outside of the shrine where you can have nice view of Kaohsiung. Plan half an hour to forty five minutes.
  • The place is pretty small. However worth to see the night view when nearby.

Where to stay in Kaohsiung

Kaohsiung caters to a range of budgets and styles in the accommodations it provides for its guests. To keep things simple and easy, take a look at the options close to Formosa Boulevard, the station where the two metro lines intersect. To the north lies the main train station, and the area has been dotted with high-rise hotels, both standard and luxurious. Backpacker-friendly hostels are never too far away in this district, while a number of traditional guesthouses can be found in the surrounding residential areas. Atmospheric, and usually budget-friendly, they provide a good option to for those wanting a side of the city other than the ultra-modern one of the central area.
