Beiji Xuantian Shangdi, Kaohsiung

3.1
#5 of 33 in Historic Sites in Kaohsiung
Religious Site Tourist Spot
Beiji Xuantian Shangdi claims to be the world's tallest waterside statue. Standing at 72 m (236 ft) tall, the imposing, vibrantly colored statue of the Xuantin God takes up much of your view as you make your way across a small bridge flanked by statues guarding the monument's entrance. The god holds a 38 m (124 ft) long sword in his right hand, known as the seven-star sword, and is also referred to as ‘the first sword in the world.’ You can also find a small temple of worship located right beneath the monument. By using our Kaohsiung family vacation planner, you can arrange your visit to Beiji Xuantian Shangdi and other attractions in Kaohsiung.

  • Dragon Tiger Tower, followed by wuli Tower stream is able to go. I would like because it is visible from the Dragon Tiger Tower. The statue of a giant God power. Just ago the bridge was somehow doing karaoke. Guide it says, this indoor but not outdoor public karaoke's. But I feel a little out of place, Taiwan culture is 垣間見remashita at the same time.

Kaohsiung caters to a range of budgets and styles in the accommodations it provides for its guests. To keep things simple and easy, take a look at the options close to Formosa Boulevard, the station where the two metro lines intersect. To the north lies the main train station, and the area has been dotted with high-rise hotels, both standard and luxurious.
