Leofoo Village Theme Park, Hsinchu County

#1 of 37 in Things to do in Hsinchu County
Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
At Leofoo Village Theme Park, you can explore themed areas, ride over 30 exciting rollercoasters, and interact with exotic animals on safari. Established in 1979 under the name Leofoo Wildlife Park, the park was reopened in 1989 as Leofoo Village Theme Park and now offers a selection of areas, including the "Arabian Kingdom," "South Pacific," and "Wild West," where you can ride on log flumes and other thrill rides. In the "African Safari" area, you can ride and feed horses, as well as observing Bengal tigers, baboons, and African lions from a tour bus. Consider bringing an umbrella for shade from the sun or rain, as the theme park offers little escape from the elements. Using our custom trip planner, Hsinchu County attractions like Leofoo Village Theme Park can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Very big place as it also includes a waterpark and safari. The place is so huge and is divided into different areas with their own themes just like in Disneyland (tomorrowland, fantasyland, mainstreet...  more »
  • Most likes to go to a different country's central theme park Park, Taipei what not for joy, and had to take a car to the zhebianpw in the future, distance comparison yesterday. But when the most exciting is that individual why u over the car the most profound, very MTV alert wow!

  • Best for kids. Old rides, food was not good. Tour train to view free ranging animals was very enjoyable.
  • A theme park that is more than 20 years old. They are trying to revamp and most attactions are outdated. It is still ok for young children but teenagers will find this place boring. Not a lot of high tech attractions.
  • Really nicely designed place, some of the rides where being remodeled and the type of rides available is basically the same in each of the areas. But a very nice family experience, the kids enjoyed it.
  • Really far from Taipei. I waited the bus more than 30 min.Highway was conjectured. I impressed at safari. There were many baffalo, rhino, peacock. We could see peacocks tryng to atrract other with full opened fether. Rides are okay.
  • Compared to an American theme park this one was great 20 years ago. The paint is literally gone on most rides and the Aladdin castle. The flying horses are held together with zip ties. The water rides are missing water. Hippos have no water to swim in, baboons are escaping their habitat and it costs NT 999 to get in. Oh and they are obviously breeding white tigers and lions for profit. This is a theme park based off a monkey which only makes an appearance twice a day for a few minutes. They have a brand and refuse to market it. Why spend 200 million and let it rot? Horrible excuse for a zoo/theme park/water park. Oh and the food is crap. The Zebras are cool, they basically do what they want.
