  • Strong legs to Downing Street and walk from the station to the entrance of little and, further up the stairs, to the top of the mountain. Best to go ago sunset, delicious tea from the tea room's balcony while watching the sunset. It was the first time the iced tea served in the pot, and drink in a cocktail glass. I feel like a landmark tower building in Kaohsiung 85, it was the image of Yokohama.

  • From the entrance of the British National Museum to the wax of the plaza, and climb the 8-story staircase to the British official mansion, here you can see the beautiful port of Kaohsiung, and the beautiful sunset, where the ticket can be sold to the British Museum to sell drinks on the stalls, and she will have the best price!

  • We walked up to this on a last-min whim via hard-to-find back-street steps (fascinating and worth it!) with very little expectations and were blown away. It was dusk so we had the added pleasure of wa...  more »

  • Apart from the historical significance of this place, the site offers a great location to view the ocean, the scenic campus of the National Sun Yat-sen University, the harbour and Kaohsiung's skyline. It is definitely one of the places to visit if you are in Kaohsiung
  • Amazing experience, the tea house after walking around offering good taste tea. The people around are very helpful starting from the gate. It was short stay but we get touch with the past through the way the place is managed and preserved. The view from top is breathtaking.
  • The location is abt three story high, so u need to climb up first. But, the view worth the trip. To entry u need to pay like 100 NTD for admission. There isnt much to see inside the building but it's the only way u can get access to the view
  • Good place to visit and learn about taiwan’s history. The balcony at the back door allows a magnificent view of the Shiziwan seaside. Going down the steep road from the back door, leads to the seaside, where sun shines and the breeze from the sea cools you down.
  • The place itself was great, I especially liked the yummy quality afternoon high tea set, not to be missed, with fantastic sea view and breeze out the terrace. Only thing not so impressed there is the coffee being just very average, and was told not refillable when I asked for a refill. The other really negative experience is the attitude of the security guards, half of them were like tensed up army officers on duty as if we were enemies. Theres a young lady guard down the lower level entrance (where the former office of the consulate is located) who shouted at my wife very rudely just because my wife‘s hand touched a concrete statue when she was trying to take a picture with it.
