  • This charming outdoor swimming pool is highly recommended even with children. There are some rules, no rubber boats, swim rings, etc. - I think very good. Locker, kl. Safety deposit box for valuables and a good stand, it has everything the heart desires. Several great fireplaces.

  • I went back today to Center. There is a nice walk around the Lake, although the full tour includes a uninteresting piece at the roadside, so better get from the restaurant half is go and back to the parking lot. Today the water was nice, but it is often too hot and when it exceeds 25, Hello insects. The crossing is about 210 m but in fact is a reserve on the other side of the restaurant, with a ground where it's not good to put foot in winter sometimes also can skate there. I give 5 stars but for walks and swimming, I recommend Turlersee instead, or even Greifensee. In any case, it's beautiful and very nature. For those who like (this is not my case), there is also a nudist area

  • Thake a breack out from the city.. no signs of civilisation here..
  • Great place to hang out during the summer. Usually not crowded early in the morning.
  • Lovely, free and local lake for swimming
  • also a picnic spot in summer
  • Nice (and free) Badi on a shallow and warm lake. OK food options and a really nice restaurant less than ten minutes walk away. Space for naturists. Sadly the parking and public transport options are really bad.

Where to stay in Zurich

As the financial hub of the country, it shouldn't come as a surprise that staying in Zurich usually comes at a price. The city puts emphasis on its glamorous four- and five-star hotels and international chains that appeal to traveling professionals. There a handful of hostels and guesthouses for the budget-conscious traveler. When staying in Zurich, you'll find that the majority of the accommodation offerings are in close proximity to the city core, either on the left or right bank. The left bank is the glitzier of the two, with its grand restaurants, shops, and proximity to the banks and train station. The right side, as home to the Old Town, charms with its historical atmosphere. Here you'll find independently owned boutique hotels and some mid-range options. The city also sports several hotels geared toward wellness, with spas and saunas. These tend to be pricey too, but you're guaranteed a truly relaxing retreat.
