  • During Covid on a Sunday morning, the museum was nearly empty and we throughly enjoyed being able to explore on our own. The museum does an amazing job using technology to engage the visitor. The...  more »
  • From the outside, the museum is very interesting and looks like a medieval castle. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to go in to see it.  more »

  • Completely amazing. We learned so much, and it never felt like a chore moving on to the next section like it can in some museums. I thought the armor and weapons displays in particular were great - lots of variety and background information. Lots about the more modern history of Switzerland too, which I didn't expect.
  • Good infrastructure...I like the digital book reading concept... Also the binocular used to show the map and war is really awesome... Old building is converted into modern structures but you cannot feel that while walking around. Indian history explained in very detailed even I was surprised that I even I didn't know some facts.
  • If you're lucky, you find a one-of-a-kind historical exhibition that allows you to travel back in time to unique places around the globe. In addition, it provides insight into the unique history of the Helvetic confederation. I highly recommend to visit the website to inform yourself before your journey.
  • Good option to kill some time on s rainy day, but don't find it so interesting for our 4 year old , rather for older and grown ups
  • It's a lovely urban atmosphere on a sunny day but the offerings are very typical museum snack bar fare. Fun on a summer day but I wouldn't make a special trip if the weather was bad.
