  • We really enjoyed visiting this museum. The history of Switzerland was told in so many ways. Near the entrance there were books that had a projection from the ceiling would shine upon to tell a story....  more

  • It’s one of the few things that is open in weekends, breathtaking exterior and amazing interior. Love how they merged the old building with the modern extension. You will enjoy walking around this beautiful place. You need at least 2 hours to walk around it and many visits if you like to see everything.
  • Completely amazing. We learned so much, and it never felt like a chore moving on to the next section like it can in some museums. I thought the armor and weapons displays in particular were great - lots of variety and background information. Lots about the more modern history of Switzerland too, which I didn't expect.
  • Great place to spend more time than you can physically handle :), especially if you attempt it with kids. Word of advice: investigate & plan. Coming two times is probably a good choice, otherwise you'll go over many things too quickly.
  • Loads of great stuff to read and interact with, covering a huge range of subjects. We could have easily spent and entire day here. We found the layout quite confusing and the map quite hard to understand. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was clean, modern and had lots of toilets. Also very reasonably priced at only 10 francs for adult admission.
  • Amazing building! Loved it! One of most beautiful you can find in Zurich. I didn't visit the inside, but the exterior was amazing. Nice park nearby!
