FIFA headquarters, Zurich

(2/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web)
The headquarters of FIFA (German: FIFA-Hauptquartier) is a distinctive complex in Zürich. The complex has served as the official headquarters of FIFA since its completion in 2006. It is located on the Zürichberg, a wooded hill in District 7.As well as offices, the complex includes a fitness centre, a meditation room, geographically themed parks and a full-size international football pitch. The main building has only two upper levels, but five underground levels, resulting in two thirds of the headquarters lying underground. "Places where people make decisions should only contain indirect light," said Sepp Blatter, "because the light should come from the people themselves who are assembled there."

  • I just went to visit because my dad wanted to see, but we saw only a gateway with the FIFA logo, banners, soccer field and gardens were closed. Has the FIFA Museum downtown that's gotta be worth it anymore. To get to this headquarters of FIFA that there's nothing to see, follow the public transport to the Zoo. At least the path of tram/streetcar is beautiful and worth the trip to the Zoo.

  • I couldn't decide what overpowers more, the stench of racism, the stench of old men or the stench of bribe money. Either way this place stinks and I will never in my life contribute to this family in ...  more »
  • First of all, access is free. The hall with the balloons from all over the world, a court in perfect condition, flags... feels much more ambiance of football that you can feel in the Museum of fifa in the Centre of Zurich. The Secretary at the reception may have some details for you. And not going to believe but if people say you are all items that sell in this place in the Museum: it is not true. If something you like, buy it, do not wait for the Museum.
