  • A good Museum with small displays but high quality and construction. Very pleasant staff trait. Centrally located in the old Botanical Garden that invites you to a small relaxing stroll.

  • In the Park of Zur Katz stands out among the buildings octagonal greenhouse. It hosts the ethnographic museum, which is free. This interesting Museum is not working only on Monday, focuses on the culture of non-European countries.

  • For those who like culture and free time, it's worth a visit to the University of Zurich. The institution is open to the public and is nice to give an entry, know the campus.

  • exhibits a bit on the boring side.
  • The current exhibit on the Cultural Revolution is a collection of repetitive symbols - buttons, red books, posters, and other marginal objects - which does little to illuminate one of the most complex phenomena of modern China. It is distortive: while the exhibition does have a section on the humiliation of the powerful, it fully misses that totalitarian scale of the revolt against authority that Mao unleashed. Each individual lived through the period in fear of beeing singled out for wanton violence at the hands of anyone, from neighbor to casual stranger.

  • Free entrance, huge selection of animals. There are audio, there is a café, there are activities for children. Miracle!
