  • This confectionery is no longer a candy store: it is an institution. Here the Zurich company bone meets the less old wishing SLUMMING the rest of the time for not to gentrify behind small ovens or colorful meringues of this confectionery repeatedly Centennial. Even the dish of the day is tasty. Everything is good at Sprüngli, including smile from the waitress, even in Zurich cougar format. Gruezi!

  • Great cafeteria. The coffee and cakes are amazing. Sprungli is a synonymous to high quality chocolate and I can say that it is delicious! You can buy here a lot of different chocolates, ice creams, sandwiches and salads. Everybody will find here something delicious.
  • Famous for luxembourgli (macaroons) but also full of chocolates, pastries and desserts. Terrace can be noisy with traffic. When busy, service can be slow so sit back and enjoy the people watching.
  • We only had a coffee and a dessert but they were. It's excellent! Service was excellent too!
  • Legendary club sandwich and other food that can be sorted among the best in Zurich. Ambience maybe not everyone's taste, but hey who cares when you eat like that.
  • Best Luxemburgerli ever. "Chocolat Traum" is very good cake at the coffee. Try the hot chocolate. Birchermuesli is a classic.

Where to stay in Zurich

As the financial hub of the country, it shouldn't come as a surprise that staying in Zurich usually comes at a price. The city puts emphasis on its glamorous four- and five-star hotels and international chains that appeal to traveling professionals. There a handful of hostels and guesthouses for the budget-conscious traveler. When staying in Zurich, you'll find that the majority of the accommodation offerings are in close proximity to the city core, either on the left or right bank. The left bank is the glitzier of the two, with its grand restaurants, shops, and proximity to the banks and train station. The right side, as home to the Old Town, charms with its historical atmosphere. Here you'll find independently owned boutique hotels and some mid-range options. The city also sports several hotels geared toward wellness, with spas and saunas. These tend to be pricey too, but you're guaranteed a truly relaxing retreat.
