  • From Wasserauen achieved the Seealpsee on a paved road. The path starts first of all on the ground floor and cozy. The way is underestimated quickly through this initial impression of a pleasant walk. But so strolling stops shortly after waterless very quickly, because from there it's only very sharply and very long uphill. People with trouble walking or in a wheelchair have there no chance, no matter how desirable the goal may be. Here one should admit quickly, not to be able to succeed than to fail later. For the visitors who are walking, steep can be but also to challenge--or the subsequent descent, finally you have the way back again. But whoever perseveres, which is rewarded by a wonderful place. The lake boasts a fabulous panorama with very special mountain massifs around. Unfortunately whole armies of tourists arrive in the summer, and many of them not as behaving as you would want it in a such nature. Therefore this destination especially outside high season is, when the days are getting shorter and you considerably more Lake itself. Even in winter, this place is a feast for the eyes, if for example the ice has covered already large parts of the surface of the water.

  • Stunningly beautiful lake a short ~40min hike from Wasserauen train station. Seealpsee is very crowded especially during the summer weekends whenever the weather is good. The locals are providing additional parking space on a nearby field, but it costs a little.
  • Absolutely amazing place. Must see! Next to it is restaurant. U can sit outside also inside. The lake is clear and nice. Around the lake are many treks up to the hills. Very nice surroundings.
  • A short hike from the train station and you'll get to this wonderful lake surrounded by an amazing mountains of green. I found it to be super relaxing sitting along the lake and listening to all the sounds of the water.
  • Very steep, lots of work to go up, but still pretty worthy of going. It's one of the best in lots of swiss people's eyes.
  • really beautiful, but you need hardwork to see it
