  • It's a leap in history that we are visiting this fort, everything is in place as of the time of the war 39/45

  • Nothing like to soak up the conditions of the 2nd World War. Very interesting tour of the different rooms of the fort as well as artillery pieces. Strategic defense with an artillery fort, 6 blockhouse to a casematte connected by a network of galleries. Impressive.

  • First of all, a splendid view of some mountains of the Jura: we can admire the Suchet, Vallorbe and the Golden mount, Ballaigues after coming on foot from the trails or car. The visit of the fort itself lasts an hour thirty (attention look at schedules to arrive on time (5 to 10 minutes late are allowed, you will be integrated into the group until he entered the fort).) Guides are always funny and interesting to tell stories, time travel is insured, it is more obvious account of the passing of time because is here in a concrete witness to the past. A true underground bunker planned attack of the enemy from the col de Jougne. Attention however, feels cramped (I recommend claustrophobic people to settle the view and a few glasses of rose near the snack bar). During this visit you will have the opportunity to learn more about the military history of the Switzerland during the second world war. A must see in addition to the caves and the Museum of the iron!
