  • It begins with a bridge, who despite appearances is a priori nothing of Roman, stepping over a pool of turquoise water that calls for swimming. Beware the water is fresh. the climb towards Brione / Sonogno don't has no difficulty. just a little long, predict the half day, but worth the cost.

  • Simply spectacular ... the photos speak for themselves: a Pearl in Ticino. You can swim, sunbathe, take all and enjoy a breathtaking view. I recommend going very early during the summer days: it is hard to find parking and finding a good spot on the rocks ...

  • Such a beautiful place---I don't want others to know about it! It's crowded in summer, but one visit and you'll know why. It's absolutely stunning! It's a must see if you visit Ticino, and worth every bit of time getting there. One caveat: check the return times of the buses, as they get irregular as the day progresses. 5 stars, all the way!
  • It is such a lovely place, prefer it visiting in spring when everything's green and wand dive in the crystal clear river.
  • An amazing valley, with a lot of nature, a beautiful river with clear bluish greenish water and amazing stone figures, and extremely beautiful traditional stone-house villages. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been at. Though it also draws a lot of people, yet is still seemingly untouched.
  • The road that takes you to Valle Verzasca is kind of thin and long but the landscape deserves the effort! Be carefoul with thw water if you want to swim, it's cold as ice even in the summer!
  • Plain beautiful nature! Might be busy in summer time, but worth it. Water is cold, but so clear. Paid parking however, a day pass might be a good option. Can be purchased for CHF 10 at the Dam.
