Nufenen Pass, Ulrichen

#14 of 21 in Nature in Canton of Valais
Find yourself suspended between two Alpine summits at Nufenen Pass. The pass represents the second-highest paved mountain road in the country at an elevation of 2,478 m (8,130 ft). The pass is open to motor vehicles but is equally popular among the cycling crowd. The panoramic views of the Alpine landscape and surrounding peaks are second to none, and you'll even find a restaurant along the way, as well as many photo opportunities. The pass is known for being the starting point of a popular, multi-national cycling route. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Ulrichen holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Nufenen Pass and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

If it plays with weather super views. Unfortunately the prices usual in Switzerland. A break is always worth it

Yesterday, on my convertible. I made this famous pass. Switzerland's second largest road pass. It was a real pleasure to see the Alps like this. It is a landscape of great beauty and the word is weak. A remake without moderation.

The pass is a beautiful combination of the Valais to Ticino. The road is very good and recommended!
