  • We could admire the castle during one hour. The castle is well preserved since the restoration and you notice that much love (and of course, money) was invested. The story that is told with the whole built-up materials invites you for more than an hour to stay. Only drawback: In the winter/spring, it is colder inside than outside. An appointment is necessary.

  • the place is worth a visit, even if only in passing. The silence and the nature creates a fabulous environment ... just try it. The castle we visited because it was closed, but for sure we will be back.

  • Did a guided tour, well done by the manager himself! Was worth it, thanks a lot. A 100 year old interior in an 1000 years old castle! Very, very nice! Good luck, hope it will remain like this for a long time!
  • Great Castle Tour. Tour Guide provided excellent historical tour in 4 languages.
  • Beautiful location and wonderful surroundings. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area.

  • Tarasp Castle is a gem in the Lower Engadine. An insider's tip is there not easily accessible, and little visited. You drive direction Tarasp from Scuol (Shule) over the bridge and parking just in front of the Castle. From here, it's a half-hour walk, which rewarded with tremendous views.

  • In the winter, skiing is announced here.
