  • The Beatus Caves are very impressive, the multilingual guide draws attention to a beautiful details. The infrastructure is very nicely fitted into the landscape. Not suitable for people with Gehbehinerung. Also the availability of public transport would be expanded.

  • North of the Lake of money are magnificent caves dating back to several millennia and which were inhabited by men for a long time, also follows the legend of St Béat killing the dragon who lived there... To access it, you must take to Beatenberg and then follow signs (small enough parking along the road) you can also arrive by ship via the Lake of money and off to Beatus of Beatenberg (stop bus also but long and slow...) Arrived on the scene, beautiful view almost vertical on House, terrace at stud and waterfall, a lot of stairs to climb pr access caves visiting free lasts about an hour and includes places with rocks and water, of many secretions, stalagtites and stalagmites, small waterfall underground, well-lit caves, visit av guide pr groups has the output if you have a little time to lose visit the small museum dedicated to his caves, nothing more... Entry to chf 25 around dogs admitted

  • A leisurely climb brings you to St. Beatus Caves - a beautiful sight, both inside and outside the caves. Inside, enjoy an educational walk-through of the cave tunnels and observe various stalactites and stalagmites, as well as a rich history of cave-dwelling and exploring. Outside, enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Thun and the surrounding mountains. Didn't eat at the restaurant as we ate with family 2 minutes away, but their ice cream selection was great. 😊
  • One of the most beautiful caves I have seen! Looks like Rivendel from Lord of the Rings! Sadly The Dragon was shy so I didnt see it! 😀
  • Great place.. Be ready for some serious climbing up the stairs. We struggled with two infants.
  • One of my favorite places in the world. Gorgeous views, great cave system, cute playground and even some pretty tasty burgers!
  • Nice caves to spend some time in
