  • This is yet very impressively only wars the armour at REI and link already... Since I no longer was visiting... I had the Museum in a completely different memory... Many more exhibits... And the place today ...viel yawning teaching... concerts events and children's birthdays and craft of events... If this is the "new" museum culture... na dan good night... I'll look even the advertised special exhibition on the third floor and then well shut abroad go to the "history experience"

  • From the outside you can't see the size of the building, so they also anticipated not the huge amount of armour, armour, weapons and Kleidernaus different eras. After the renovation, there to see also animated and some even can try, lead as a two-handed sword or try a chainmail with Harnisch. You want to see everything, half a day is not enough. If you have fun at these things (also prepared skull of the Schlachtfelden with corresponding wounds...) is used here really satisfying. Great!

  • The new exhibition on the history of the Swiss Guard is very interesting. The Swiss were in great demand not only in the Vatican, but almost all over the world. Highly recommended!

  • I have been to this museum twice. Once was four years ago, before the significant renovation which saw it closed for two years. Then and now I give this museum five stars. That is not to say there are not some things which I preferred about the old museum. The new renovation was very well done. As an English speaker I greatly appreciated the interactive displays and tablets which allowed me to learn far more about what I was seeing than on my previous visit. Also several pieces were far better presented. One structural change I noted were the windows. When I was there four years ago they were wide open with a breeze coming through, now they are fixed closed, most likely to the benefit of many pieces on display! I did notice there seemed to be far fewer pieces on display. This was most notable with the larger two handed swords which had hung around the outside wall of the inner circular staircase. Far fewer seemed to be present and there also appeared to be much less armor. If I had never seen the old museum I never would have noticed. Nevertheless this is a fantastic museum and I hope in the days to come they will expand what is on display.
  • and, yes, for those willing, you can put on a medieval knight's armor (great for the kids)
  • The Armory Museum. Contains many historical pieces and unique in my opinion. Along the way you can pick up a sword, a spear and wearing armor. Building very well maintained and cared for. The only drawback is the total lack of references in Italian, but it's a normal.

  • What a pity! I still knew the old Museum. Meanwhile, some so-called architects there have raged out. Just as it looks also. Never again.
