  • stayed here for a different kind of excursion. the thrill of walking on the bridge is beautiful, and something that doesn't happen often, walk a 270 m high is creepy and offers a breathtaking. the walk to the bridge is pleasant, 45 minutes into the nature, we were in November, and there were plenty of chestnuts. during the walk to reach a church that Board to see.

  • It is a beautiful place for lovers of nature and trekking. There is a funicular that cost CHF8 but that was not working when I went (the turn saw him working so I would have to find out on the internet) must know how to reach by car more above (if the funicular doesn't work) an hour's drive between forests, very well-maintained stone stairs, ascents and descents. There were families, people with dogs in the end, if athletes are all good. You pass by an old stone church and there are a couple of tables to pause watching the citizens from the top. You continue walking a good time and get to the suspension bridge with much heat but eye across the Sun isn't, so the cold and wind arrive abruptly! I was a sunny fall day. The bridge is very safe and solid and the view is spectacular. There are many other longer trails for experts on the other side of the bridge. What is missing are garbage cans because usually people eat something when reach the goal. It's a beautiful walk.

  • Ascend and descend by cable car is almost always hopeless with long waiting times, especially on the way back. The bridge is not anything special and the scenery is nothing compared to some bridges that are similar to the North of the Alps. My advice is to climb and descend on foot, visit the Church of San Bernardo (extraordinary) and eat the delicious Curzutt.
