  • This museum is remarkable on many levels: very well restored historic castle, permanent exhibition on life in Switzerland very interesting temporary exhibitions very well manufactured and informative... Recommend for families as well as tourists. This museum offers popular open days. In the last of these days I was impressed by the old days dress made entirely by the Sisters of Mestral. This unique piece representing a dress of the 18th century was made with pages of the newspaper Le Temps. She is only a symbol of the past, modernism, creativity, fantasy and new to her. It's a dream. Congratulations to the three creators. I hope that the Museum will be keen to protect and share this work. And the newspaper "Le Temps" should also pay tribute to this so original expression of "time" passing... Caution

  • The most:-pretty decoration, the time - easy to move - on the 1st floor, the history of the Castle, on the 2nd a mixture of history such as coins, stamps, weight, measurements, mobility, etc., on the 3rd image of Switzerland outside Switzerland - Nice on the phone and at the front desk. -L' outside has an amazing view, ideal for a photo shoot. Least:-not great thing for "touch" or living way in the Museum, especially the children who dream of touching things, some cameras and sounds at the slightest movement.

  • We are in Switzerland...! Everything is clean, the surroundings, the Park, the garden and of course the castle itself. Hospitality is smiling and the lilting accent is also present. Overall the visit is free, fun and informative. A huge and beautiful page on the history of the Switzerland engages visitors we are. However, the Swiss faience are few, nothing on the Swiss vineyards... and nothing on the chocolate industry. A modest storefront on watchmaking, but really very modest and singing the praises of one brand! On the other hand an entire room is dedicated to the spinning and silk industry. The curator may have the answer? It is a National Museum of Switzerland?

  • A beautiful castle, the muséum is fascinating and really informative! When visiting you really feel like going back to the 18-19th centuries! The botanic garden is not to be missed! I had an amazing time! 😀
