  • Hopped on the Rochers-de-Naye mainly to Santa's House, set up beautifully, with spectacular views. Unfortunately, being a public holiday in Italy and g. some neighbouring cantons there were several people, the trains were full (especially at), so there we were enjoyed the trip. However, up there the view is truly spectacular (although they had formed some low clouds or haze that they obstructed part of the panorama below). The House of Santa Claus is deserving, the staff were courteous and helpful. Prices are obviously Swiss, but accessible. The Rochers-de-Naye are reachable all g.g. (beyond the House of Santa Claus). Above the station is available a bar and self-service restaurant, a shop, a small hotel, and around of Mongolian tents. Santa's House is set up inside a small restaurant in the rock; spent the Christmas period returns available to skiers and visitors, easily accessible through a tunnel in the rock directly from the station. Over the Christmas period there is also a small snack-bar in the station (with accessible prices) and another in the House of Santa Claus (also souvenirs). In season there are also marmots! ... The trains are tiny and travel (including stops) takes about an hour. For Santa Claus is almost essential to book before the ticket. Cannot be reached by car! Nice!

  • We had overall a very good time visiting Santa's House up in Rochers de Naye. Santa looks awesome, takes the time to open and read my daughter's letter, the house and the tunnel leading to it are well...  more »
  • So, the place is gorgeous and a nice get there with trenino (where, however, it rots of warm). But we went to visit Santa's Grotto and stopping to sleep: a disappointment. Santa did his best, nice pics give (with what I spent!) but there was nothing ... the guy who put on makeup wasn't even dressed as Elf and the thing ran out in 5 minutes. Then the surprise: I had booked a room and when we walked in we were shocked: 490 francs (between dinner, room, train and tour of the cave) and as I am a small room with bunk 4lettini and two chairs, nothing more than a toilet that was on the floor. Maybe advise at reservation?? Dinner was decent, I already knew the menu and already I had assessed that it was not the greatest ... patience. In the room a warm layer (and I am a chilly) annoying considering that both myself and my daughter weren't great (with cough, fever and malaise). The breakfast was decent ... but just arrived the train walked away. I mean, if you really want to take the kids, don't stop to sleep!
