Take a scenic walk along Lakeside Promenade Fleuri, which hugs the bank of Lake Geneva. The lakeside path extends from Vevey to Villeneuve. An easy walk, the trail impresses with views across the lake to Chillon Castle. Follow the path long enough and you'll find yourself at the 11th-century castle.   • Montreux is already well known thanks to its "Golden Rose", its jazz Festival, musical September but should not forget its quays attracting many walkers from around the world throughout the year. Throughout the year the Palm trees of all kinds, exotic trees coming from all over the world and the great arrangements and sculptures fleuraux on some 5 km of walk to the famous Castle of Chillon enchant.
