  • About 25 years ago was the last time here and everything is still the same. Only 25 years later. An old system was a good idea of the worth visiting. Definitely still in transit once worth watching, but but for the price you must change your mind several times. Environment is maintained, however, have come in the years the actual objects and not inviting. Such as fallen church towers, vessels that are verhedern and a rust, the motorway service area with windblown guardrails and broken verges, etc.. What a pity.

  • Swissminiatur Melide is located, on the banks of Lake Lugano a few kilometres from the Italian border. The Park is home to the reconstruction of a large number of more or less important or historical buildings existing in Switzerland. Although most of these are quite unknown to the Italians, they still offer a glance, both for the reconstruction itself, very well done, both for the context in which they are inserted, greenery and a great reconstruction of the natural environment in which the original buildings are inserted-see for example the gondola of the Jungfrau. Another plus point is the presence of a miniature railway that runs through the park with a nice number of trains! A joy for children, but also for great lovers hobbies! Despite the buildings, and trains, are really well made, resent a little the years-the Park was opened in 1959. It must be said that the maintenance seems to be made on an ongoing basis, so much so that some models were removed or reported as under restoration. A small tourist train "scenic" for children (but also for adults) that makes the ride around the Park (tickets cost 2 francs, but a race is included in the price of admission to the park for children), a few play areas like luna park, a restaurant/bar and souvenir shop complete the attraction. It is also possible to admire the laboratory where the models are built or renovated. Prices a bit dear for Italian standards (19 francs for adults, 12 francs, if I remember correctly, for children ...)

  • OK, I admit, my son taking him in many parks and become his new favorite Park, but now I've really seen that left us her tiny little heart (4 years). A miniature Switzerland where attention to detail is obsessive. Beautiful monuments, what I loved my son are the trains running around the whole Park, stop in the stations and leave ringing. We spent the whole day to chase the various trains. Recommended for all children and all the greats who are still children inside!

  • Good place, but could have been better if they had good stuff for kids to eat....as this has to be a child friendly place
  • Great place for kids with a lot of swiss historic for famous places. The small tour on train is especially appreciated by small kids.
  • Great miniature theme park displaying the most typical sights as well as traditional houses of Switzerland, a lot to see and to do for kids (e.g. ride on the miniature train).
  • Suisse miniature is a visit worthy if you have kids and needs to spend a couple of hours. The themed park with famous Suisse buildings, castles and trains are well kept and with many details. However the park hasn't evolved much over the years so if you've been there once, you've seen it all.
  • This park is OK for children, but is relatively little... and is open-air, so when is hot there aren't shadows, and when it rains it's not covered... maybe adding a roof would improve the visit...
