  • Due to bad weather, cold, rain and fog, we couldn't do the walk with the dogs, but we visited the Museum and we were able to stay in contact with Barry, beautiful and well maintained.

  • I would recommend to anyone visiting Martigny to say hello to the St-Bernard. Furthermore, the restaurant and its terrace deserve :) satisfies

  • We usually expect the announcement of births of children to see the puppies... they are really adorable and funny see them run and play in the snow, catch games... and then then fall asleep together under the gaze of their mother. Take pictures with the children, possibly go for a walk avec(faut s'inscrire) history of the St. Bernard liking still.

  • I am so deeply dissapointed of this museum. My favourite breed of dogs is Saint Bernard, and I was really excited to go to a place totally dedicated to them. Thank God I did not pay anything because the ticket was included in my swiss travel pass, but it was a waste of time of effort to go to a place where all the dogs are put in boring rooms. You see the boredom in their eyes. And they have every half an hour to pet ONE dog. The poor dog looked drugged... and it didn't felt good to go and pet him when like 20 persons where doing it. I dont recommend this place at all. And I did not even pay.
  • Spending time with the dogs is a spectacular experience. The steak in the museum restaurant was amazing!
  • A great little museum-well worth the stop on your way through the mountains! I absolutely loved it, the small museum was very interesting even if it is all in French (they offer English translations in a pamphlet that you return to the main desk when finished), very informative. Also being able to see the dogs and pet them!! Totally makes this one of my favorite things in Switzerland!
  • We were a bit disappointed that there were no puppies at the centre when we visited. They had a big TV showing a low quality web cam image of a new litter of 9 puppies that will be at the centre from the end of September 2016. We got to meet some of the adult dogs which are impressive animals - at ~60-70kg, they are heavier than a typical adult woman. Upstairs there is a very thorough exhibition about the Grand St. Bernard pass. It treats every aspect of the history of the pass and the dogs. The layout is a bit confusing but there is no lack of information. Overall, it's a bit expensive (12SF) for what it is, but you are supporting the dogs.
  • Great place where you will be able to see these real typical swiss dogs. They look so fantastic.
