  • Nice way, E.g. by the Monte Brè coming back to Lugano. Alternatively run from Lugano to Gandria and drive back to the ship.

  • The walk is a now a classic of "spring and autumn". The trail runs near the mountain, in an environment that enjoys a microclimate very special: here some of the agaves that rivals the Italian riviera and even some prickly pear plant with their loads of fruit! Advisable to tread the path from Lugano to Gandria where you can stop in this wonderful village almost intact and if your lucky, refresh yourself on a wonderful little terrace overlooking the Lake. I mean, the place is lovely: what are you waitin' for? One last thing: If you expect to get olives in profusion never mind, you're not in the right place. But this is a failing that you can forgive!

  • Leisurely walk from Castagnola to Gandria, all skirting the Lake Lugano at various heights. Also of interest is the Parco degli Ulivi just took the trail from San Domenico, on the left and going up you come to the vineyard of the city of Lugano.
