  • Coming soon: As adult couples you don't have to go and you wish the children a better Museum something longer: after 15 years Swiss Museum of transport abstinence and beautiful young end memories we made us once again a visit to the Museum. Unfortunately, this was disappointing on long distances. Many of the exhibits are not only pretty unkind presented, some is also broken, damaged, or is not running. It is actually a pity: you can see that much money is invested, but then nothing so fits in the details. In the IMAX, the tweeter fail halfway through the film, what bothers nobody of the staff but also after my questions down. In the Schokoadventure system was invested while a trackless ride so much money, the friendly show is hard to beat but then at superwomen - only small whisky Museum in Edinburgh so worlds better, other museums not to mention. In another room, a large map of Switzerland was installed on two floors drueber running. Just so no one knows why. At the Planetarium, the fascination of the great Hall with a trailer (!) of a poorly animated cartoon film (!) is first broke. Then follows a rather confused and rather boring self-production with bad music and bad pace. In the end credits, it soon becomes clear that here a few additional employees (/ professionals) in the crew is not harmed. An employee motivated more poorly than right displays live, what is the highlight of the day but also equal finally constellations. Which is why on the day distributed several different shows running, is incomprehensible; you would have to pay separately for each. Drum seats are probably also everywhere quite empty. You just don't really learn much. A small machine in the Rails Hall haunted me a Milano-Zürich ticket counter. Why I don't know. And to bring the out of focus jerky Stadler Rail Simulator in gear it takes almost a doctoral degree. But actually, the coronation comes at the beginning. The fun costs incredible 128 CHF for 2 adults! - and this only because we had a discount card. This is tip probably also in international comparison and unrelated to the experience; even the rather expensive Europa Park or Disneyland Paris are significantly cheaper from other international museums (Yes, even with IMAX or rides) not to mention. So we will not come back.

  • Really a missed Museum for all ages. This museum allows young and old to know, admire and play with all means of transport! 4-year-old son was so much fun to play ride a train right, surged by cable car, saw the operation of a closed and played with a giant Pinball. Really well done and well pensato....se come to Lucerne passed here at least half a day: so worth it!! Kudos to whoever designed and structured!!

  • I didn't expect such a surprising museum: well structured, lot of very interesting information, not boring, interactive for both adults and kids! The ticket price worths the visit!

  • On our honeymoon, we were told this was a must-visit. We made the walk from Lucerne (in the rain!), and we had a great experience. The tickets were even free on this day because of an event that was slightly interfering with some of the exhibits. The different exhibits were REALLY cool and very interactive. I felt like you got to 'play' while learning about transport. It was clean and not too crowded. I think some of the displays may have been a little disorganized as far as timelines went, but, that may have been because we weren't able to see things in order because of the event. Overall, great trip!
  • It was good to see all the variety of vehicles they had. The issue I had was the cost was pretty high and a good portion of the interactive displays were out of order so it took away from the value. Otherwise a good way to spend a couple of hours.
  • One of the best Museums in the world. You can not only see and read but touch and try. Loads if stuff, not only cars and trains. Every couple weeks you see something new. New exhibits, New shows. Worth to visit, for the whole family but also just yourself
  • Great place to take kids. Lots to do, including many interactive exhibits. Ideal for small groups and great fun for all ages, but ideal for children between~3 to ~13 (after this is very dependant on child's interests of course)
  • The swiss museum of transport is the best museum in this category. There are different exhibitions (railway, road vehicles ships, planes, astronomics. I recommend you this museum, its interesting for every age. The only negative thing about this museum are the high prices. Children 6-16 years old 15.- and above 16 years 30.-
