  • This city wall is excellent and provides great views of the city of Lucerne as well as the breathtaking surroundings. Well suitable even if the weather is less beautiful. Very centrally located, is well worth the climb the few steps and you will be "History up close" rewarded. A visit should be missing on any city tour.

  • The tower is quite impressive, and completes the picture of medievel luzern along with the old town and the chapel bridge. Recommend doing some reading on it before visiting. Its a well preserved piece if history. Plus, The mechanics behind the clock tower can be seen in one of the towers.
  • One of the must see items to put on your list when visiting this wonderful city! Do climb one of the towers. Part of this ancient city wall can be traversed on top of the wall.
  • Great historic place, recommended of course for the view over Luzern's center. You can enter is 3 of the towers. Museum isn't so important, but at least having a walk up there is recommended
  • I love the clock tower museum. You can see all the internal workings of the clock tower. Climb all the way to the top but be careful if it's close to the top of the hour 🔔
  • Like the view from the top of tower 'Luegisland' It's the second last tower on the left (when you came from lucerne city)
