  • Not far to walk above the old town. Very well preserved defensive wall, several walk-in towers, especially the clock tower is well worth the visit. The whole partial greenery nestled in a residential area,. Wonderful views of the city, the Lake and the surrounding mountain ranges.

  • The ascent of the Musegg wall is free and offers interesting views of the city of Lucerne and the Lake.

  • The 900-metre Museggmauer is something you're proud of in Lucerne, and it is also reason. Wall, whose construction began within 1370, belongs to the most well preserved fortress walls in the country. The vast majority of the type of fortification walls everywhere in Europe lost their military importance in the mid-1800 's, and it also applies to the Museggmauer. Today is the wall with its nine beautiful lookout towers museum and landmark of the city. You can climb up in three of the towers, among other Männliturm, which I visited. 124 steps I spoke up there, and it is, of course, not very much, but it is it anyway, because that is when some of the highest step, I've gone on, so completely smooth trip was not, and it is not recommended that people try to higher bad coming up and also down again. The day I visited was the city of Lucerne and the whole of Northern Switzerland covered by a thick fog, and you could not see further than 50 meters away, so the gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne and at the hillsides were unfortunately I cheated too.

  • A good walk up and down towers and part of the old fortress wall. Great views from the tops of the towers. The steps are large and children may need help with them, but I am sure they would love the adventure.
  • Beautiful views over Lucerne. A must do.
  • Very nice view from the wall and it's towers. You can climb to the top of the bell tower and read/see how it works.
  • Great walk to see Lucerne from above and learn about its past! The entrance is free but there's not a lot of information on how to get there or on the wall itself! Still a must though 🏛
  • Fun to walk along the wall and hike down to the river. Great views. It's not difficult to find just keep looking up at the furthest right wind tower with the two guys painted on it. Climb inside the tower with three click and viola you are on top of the wall.
