  • That long that I was not surprised by a chocolatier, both by its technical mastery than by his creativity. Far from falling into the easy trap of the product for tourists, despite its location, this chocolate dares the bet of the search for agreements and tastes, while regularly renewing its collections. The staff is friendly and efficient. Potential downside, enough classically, the oven of the crus is Felchlin. Origins and plantations original or confidential would certainly be enhanced by such a talent.

  • This is a delicious handmade product produced at their store in Lucerne, but you can also purchase at their store in Zurich. The chocolate here far exceeds the taste and quality of other chocolatiers ...  read more »
  • A small chocolate shop, made manually. But the varieties of chocolate sea here, I particularly liked with pistachios and rose. To which, as everyone in Switzerland

  • Lovely little store! Beautiful, handcrafted chocolates in simple but gorgeous packaging. Wish they would ship to North America!
  • This is the best chocolate I ever tasted. Really, I love the combination of different flavours like passion fruit or roses! A lot of seasonal products and only with the best ingredients. They have perfect presents for yourself or your friends... mmhh...
  • Mmmmh - This is experiencing chocolate with all your senses. The store has a beautiful architecture which atmosphere immediately makes you feel at ease and you start to relax. And I personally love the way of packaging. You already sense that these are very exclusive products just by the way they are presented. But of course another important part is the tasting and yes - even if it took me some time in my life until I became fond of chocolate, these truffles made me 'fall in love by first bite'. When I entered Max Chocolatier the first time I spent quite a little while to explore everything. I return every now and then to find out a bit more about the story behind this unique company and most of all to get some more of this delicious chocolate.
  • Of all the chocolate shops i have been to, this is my least favorite.I purchased a box with one of every type of truffle available on the day of purchase (15 total) and i was expecting to find a chocolate cream filling inside the beautiful chocolate crust. However, many of these "truffles" were filled with something resembling a marshmallow or jam. The chocolate filled truffles had the consistency of nutella. Although, the taste was slightly better than jam, marshmallows or nutella, and the presentation was excellent. I would rather have choclates from any other shop (or even off the shelf lindt choclates).
  • was allowed to try the chocolates. well, I was expecting a lot more. There are manufactories in Switzerland which have much better products. What a pity...
