  • Available to the showrooms has not pleased us. The exhibited works are not enough highlighted by the lighting. The building is beautiful from the outside. Terrace Lake side is an added advantage. It should also highlight the Valais culture, but unfortunately the wine by the glass was, despite the price, poor quality.

  • I came for the second time to the Foundation Arnaud visit an exhibition. It's an exhibition of quality dedicated to the Berlin wall. We arrived practically to the opening, and there were already a few visitors. Beyond the quality of the exhibition, this attendance is possibly explained by the fact that we have come in the last days of presentation of this exhibition. We took two audio-guides. I found that it was useful for more detailed explanation on the works present on parts of the Berlin wall that were presented. There was a good alternation between the works that were presented with a review of the audio-guide and those who were not. I still a little surprised that the booklet given to visitors, as well as the audio guide, are in french and English. For an exhibition dedicated to the Berlin wall, German capital, and in order also to a German-speaking audience, a German version could have been interesting. I have not paid the entry (I had a card giving me free). The entry price normal (18 - and - 3 with audio-guide) is certainly in the average of the Swiss museums but for a tour that takes about 1 h 30, prices seem in the high range. The price is explained in part by the quality of the presented exhibits. Concerning the building of the Arnaud Foundation, it is very beautiful, it fits well in the village, with the shady Lake right next door. Parking places are nearby and there is a free shuttle service also. You can also take advantage of the Foundation (Indigo) restaurant for lunch or a coffee.
